The podcast “Blind Talk with Madsen”
The Minister of Economic Affairs of Schleswig-Holstein, Claus Ruhe Madsen, regularly invites exciting guests to talk about the economy, innovation and the future of the state in his podcast “Blind Talk with Madsen.” The special thing: Without knowing in advance who is sitting opposite him, he asks his interlocutors questions that make them think and enable an authentic exchange.
With this format, the minister wants to gain new perspectives on current economic challenges and show what opportunities there are for companies, founders and society.
Two of our three founders, Dennis Przytarski and Colin Kavanagh, were invited to an episode of the podcast on November 20, 2023 to discuss the challenges and opportunities of immersive technologies. HoloNative plays a central role in the development and application of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) in Schleswig-Holstein, so that Dennis and Colin were able to provide exciting insights from practice.

The most important topics of the podcast episode
A central topic was the growing relevance of immersive technologies in various industries — from industry and architecture to education. Dennis and Colin explained how HoloNative helps companies make complex information understandable through interactive applications. But despite the potential, the two also emphasized the challenges: lack of expertise, high investment costs and the need to strengthen digital skills in companies and schools. Another important topic was the importance of media literacy when dealing with artificial intelligence, particularly with regard to deepfakes. Dennis and Colin presented our “Deepfake Detective” project here, which shows how digital education can be strengthened through practical workshops. Dennis explains in the episode: “We're talking about a Deepfake Detective, which consists of four stations about educating, sensitizing, discussing and becoming a Deepfake Detective interactively in a virtual reality environment. In other words, to complete three tests and thus get the tools to finally recognize this important issue, the deepfakes.”
